Is an actor a show-man?

Theater - literally the place where some people pretend to be someone else and other people buy tickets to watch them.  We were in front of one white round building, the most famous on the world, entering to hear its history. In front of Globe How do the people enter theater today? Mainly nice dressed, eating ice-cream and drinking wine from fancy glasses between acts, talking about the performance...or weather during the break. Ladies wait patiently in front of the toilet to fix make up. When the show starts, the most of them, except some extremely rude beings, usually shut up, listen and clap at the end, at least from courtesy, even the show was nothing special.   Centuries and centuries ago, there weren't the toilets in Globe. Instead of drinks between the acts, people drink during the whole show. Of course, they didn't want to go out just to pee and to pay entrance again, so the toilet was everywhere. The main benefit of long ladies skirts was the takeaw

On this solo kind of trips, you can predict meetings with some friends for a coffee or with organizers of some event, if they are not too busy to provide you with information. But, you also could read about unpredictable meetings with people, who brought some interesting information and nice shades to my trips so far. Few days before the last part of my trip, director of show "Stand AP Serbie" in which I play in students theater, entered the bus in Nis, my city. In few minutes we had till his next station, he told me that he was preparing for Moscow.  "Moscow? Great!" "I am going to students theater festival there. What are you going for?" "I will be professor at congress there." "Oh, nice, see you..." With Vladimir and Bojana  That was  Vladimir Cvejic (59 years)  - from N is, Serbia. -Who are you travelling with? -Alone. People were a bit skeptic when I was  talking about my trip(s). I knew that I would need better preparation, because I was definitely main person I could count on. The only thing I was a bit worried was my space orientation, but with strong faith in wi-fi, I hit the roads.    St. Paul and Peter fortress was the first landmark of my visit to Russia.  -St. Paul and Peter fortress? -(complete ignorance) -Петропавловская крепость? -Направо. Knowledge of Russian and Cyrillic reduce your opportunity to get lost in Russia up to 500%.   Cyrillic - one and only! I was imaging fortress as a big, green space, where people are chilling out, and few buildings where you can enter, paying the ticket. But in St. Paul and Peter fortress, you can't see that much without paying. On every step there are different kinds of museums - from Museum of Torture to Museum of Cosmonautics and Missile Artillery. It is one very historical

Many monuments and nice places in Saint Petersburg I visited on my own. I took one free tour, get directions to Pushkin cafe, tips for places to have lunch, interesting facts about Saint Isaac's Cathedral  which was turned into the museum of atheism during communism time, was listening about frozen Neva and heard story about midday shoot from  Naryshkin Bastion , which signalized begging and ending of work shift during the Peter's the Great period or  signalized risk of flood. "Maybe I should pay tour to Tsarskoe selo, and get more information about place where Pushkin was studying and where the    Catherine I of Russia decided to build a residence...", I thought. There are many stands on Nevski prospekt, Saint Petersburg main street, where you can book your tour to different palaces, boat trips and other touristic places. I arrived at last moment, paid 2400 rubles (~32 EUR), woman took me to a guide...and I realized that tour is in Russian! It was too la

One of the theaters, which drew my attention on 31st Ulica festival in Krakow is Grupa Zatrzymac Obrotowke from Poland . They had very attractive performance, with some acrobatic parts. "Performances with the disabled and engaging in worked for local community in the Krakow district of Kazimierz" in the program description inspired me to go to backstage, after the show and ask more about their work.
